How to strengthen your motivation to accomplish your dreams

How to strengthen your motivation to accomplish your dreams

How badly do you want your aspirations? How motivated are you to be persistent in going after your goals and dreams until they are realised?

How much you want your goals and dreams reveals the strength of your motivation. It is that strength that will steadfastly go after your dreams irrespective of any setbacks.

I recall a friend who set himself a goal that he felt extremely excited about. He talked for days on end about that goal; what it meant to him and how he really wanted to have it within six months at the most.

A couple of months later, my friend Bill, took me aside. I could see he was feeling depressed. He went on to tell me how disappointed he was that his goal had not been realised.

“Goal? What Goal?” was my honest answer. It was not what Bill wanted to hear.

“You know, my goal to get a toned body,” Bill answered, with a sense of frustration in his voice.

“Oh that. I thought you were kidding. We all figured you changed your mind since we don’t see you going to the gym anymore,” I replied.

What happened here?

In the beginning, Bill was thrilled about his new goal of getting a toned body; a sculptured chest, arms and thighs. He was full of motivation and determination to achieve that goal.

He regularly went to the gym four to five days a week. He took his protein shakes, his Creatine and chatted endlessly about his training schedule and how pleased he was with his progress.

By the third month, he started to workout twice a week and mid-way through that month it trickled to once a week.

His problem was he couldn’t understand why his motivation to workout had dwindled to once a week half-way through the third month.

“At the beginning, I was so full of eagerness. I felt nothing could stop me,” he explained.

So what went wrong? Where did his incredible motivation go?

After careful consideration, it came to light that Bill had lost his initial burst of motivation because he was not really passionate about being sculptured.

It was merely a passing ‘wish’. In other words, he did not want to be sculptured badly enough. If he did, if he felt passionate, he would have continued his workout routine no matter what challenges or distractions he faced.

Bill was torn between two thoughts. The first said, “Yeah I’d like to have a sculptured body.” But his opposing second thought argued, “Sure, but you could get along in life without it.”

And who won? His conflicting thought did. You see, Bill would have ‘liked’ the firm body, but he did not turn that wish into a solid goal. The toned body idea remained just that, an a wish. As such, his once powerful motivation had weakened until it disappeared.

If he had turned it into a goal, he would have pursued it. He would have been enthusiastic to pursue that goal irrespective of how how busy he was.

After all, it was his goal. And goals are meant to be achieved.

Passion ignites the drive from deep within to maintain the motivation to reach all sorts of goals and dreams. Passion provides the fuel to keep you in a highly motivated state of mind.

Once you find out what you are passionate about, increase your motivation to remain persistent regardless of any obstacles.

In time, your motivation will increase in strength regardless of any interruptions.

Motivation pushes you to take consistent daily action to achieve and live your goals.

Unleashing the power of your Subconscious Mind

Unleashing the power of your Subconscious Mind

By: Greg Frost

The crux to making your subconscious mind work for you is in your attitude. Having a good self-esteem and confidence in yourself can go a long way towards reaching the goals that you have set up for your mind. Whilst many people think that confidence and esteem comes with your personality, which is determined at birth, it is a fallacy. It is possible to start cultivating and make better your inner image and resources, primarily that of your subconscious mind.

The subconscious mind is an amazing resource that has the ability to keep memories that have been long forgotten. It has a strong effect on the conscious mind, although it cannot be able to think logically and has to take direction from the conscious mind instead. However, it is possible to tap into the subconscious mind and make it work for you. A myriad of are available for doing so, such as through hypnosis, subliminal programming and positive affirmations.

The most common and easy to master technique of reaching the subconscious is through positive affirmations. Whether for losing weight or increasing self confidence, positive affirmations can be applied to any aspect of your life. By allowing thoughts on a positive self esteem and confidence in your subconscious, you will be able to affect the conscious mind as well.

The subconscious mind is thus, more powerful and effective than most people give it credit for. For example, positive affirmation simply activates the subconscious mind giving it the abilityto it to work at its peak, handling the everyday matters. It is able to do so by imprinting messages into your subconscious through constant repetition.

By getting into your subconscious mind, you then strengthen the linkage between the conscious and the subconscious, allowing you to achieve many things. That takes into account of getting rid of negative thoughts, unhealthy habits, and boosting your self confidence and other abilities.

To unlock the power of your subconscious mind is very easy process, requiring only your willingness and effort. Below are 3 simple steps you can take to start on making your subconscious mind work for you:

1. What Keeps You Going

Identify the purpose that motivates you to thrive so hard and excel in life. Without the knowledge of what keeps you going, you will not be able to recover the same level of drive when you encounter with setbacks or discouraged. Being able to unleash your subconscious mind depends on knowing what you want, before you can achieve it.

2. Create a Strategy
When you are able to identify what drives you, you will be better equipped to work out your possible options and make the relevant decisions that will help you reach your goals. Without an action plan, you will be unable to chart a clear path and risk going off track.

3. Perseverance and Passion

Once you have decided on a course of action, allow yourself to be totally engrossed in it. With passion and a strong focus, you will be able to realize your goals, fueled by perseverance.

With these 3 steps, you will be well on your way towards unlocking the power of the subconscious mind and making it work for you.

The Incredible Power of Willingness

The Incredible Power of Willingness

By: suhardi

If you're seriously interested in knowing about daily motivation, you need to think beyond the basics. This informative article takes a closer look at things you need to know about daily motivation.

How can you put a limit on learning more? The next section may contain that one little bit of wisdom that changes everything.

The story I’m about to tell you is based on the true story. I hope you can learn anything from the man on the following story.
There was a man who was a resident in New York City and also a web designer. One day he took a subway in Brooklyn District to go somewhere. And when the train was on the way, he saw a girl, a drop-dead gorgeous girl not far from him. And he fell in love at the first sight with her. He had never had his feeling that way before. She was so pretty to him. And he wanted to meet and asked for her name soon after the train arrived at the station.

And when the train arrive at the station, he was about to go to the girl and meet her. Unfortunately, however, there were too many passengers that cause his sight was hindered by the passengers walking down the subway. Finally, he lost the girl and after searching for her everywhere, he still couldn’t find her.

Day after day passed by, and he was more deeply fell in love with the girl he met at the subway days before and his feeling of love was stronger than before until one day he decided to find the way or do whatever to find the girl.

He finally committed to find the girl. His willingness to meet her was unstoppable. He then began to make a website. In the website, he wrote all about her physical appearance and also wrote a message to let him knew if someone had met her before or knew her or knew the information about her.

In just hours after publishing the website, many responses came to him. There were some people sympathizing him, some people gave courage and support, some people gave advice or ways to help him finding the girl, and some girls even offered their love to him.

And his hard effort was successful. There was a girl who confessed that she knew the girl he searched for. And the good news was that the man could finally find and meet the girl he was in deep love with. The end of the story was unknown. The man didn’t want to tell more.

Message for readers:

It doesn’t matter that the continuation of the story is unknown. But we can learn from the man’s commitment on the story above. You probably wonder how he can find the girl. There are about 11 millions residents in New York City. How can he find the girl in a very large city like New York is? You perhaps think that it’s impossible to find her out. But this is the true power of willingness. Impossibility turns into possibility by the power of willingness and commitment.

How strong your willingness is? Do you have strong will to achieve success in your life? Many people want to achieve success, to be richer, healthier, luxurious housing and car, higher promotion in work etc. If you ask them whether they want better and more successful life, they’ll absolutely say yes. But we probably wonder why still so many people do not get what every other people want. There are only minority of people who live in success. This depends on the will that everyone has. They want everything in this life. But they just want it. They do not have strong will to achieve them. It doesn’t matter whether you can achieve it or not, but all that matter is that you has the will to achieve it or not. You can’t get what you want if you simply do not have the will to achieve that because you think that it isn’t a must. If you feel that it doesn’t matter if you finally achieve it or not, you will act differently with when you act using strong will and you will not use your maximum potency and can you guess what results you will get? You’ll get the results you’ll never expect to have.

There’s nothing can stop you to achieve whatever you want to be, to do and to have if you really have the strong willingness to do whatever it takes to achieve them as the Chinese proverb says, “If you have the will, you can move the mountain.”

If you have the will, you can do everything that seems to be impossible for everyone to do. Your will is like the fuel to boost your action toward success. Nothing is impossible when you really have the will. How strong your willingness is will determine how big you’ll achieve. Simply take a look at the story above. Everything seems to be impossible, but the man can finally prove that he can. That’s the power of will. Nothing can stop you and you will slide fast like a train.

You can’t just want success. It’s not enough. If you really want to achieve success, you must have strong will to achieve that. Your willingness will make you having commitment. By having commitment, you’ll do everything to accomplish even when everything seems to be hard and impossible. You will also find the way to achieve your success. The way will be given to you only if you have the will to look for it.

As the addition, the power of willingness will drive and keep you in track of your success. You are you today because of your will, you achieve success because of your will, and you can be, do and have what you truly want because of your will. If you have strong willingness, everything in this world is very possible for you. To get success, you need to use your will power upon yourself.

Remember this proverb: “WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY.”

It never hurts to be well-informed with the latest on daily motivation. Compare what you've learned here to future articles so that you can stay alert to changes in the area of daily motivation.

Inspiration to get you motivated and give you a confidence booster!

Inspiration to get you motivated and give you a confidence booster!

By: Nevaeh

With today´s hectic lifestyle and stresses it´s easy to get bogged down, especially when you´re trying to find a different job or new avenue to go down and your loved ones don´t tell you you´re doing marvellous or that your fabulous every single day, which, sometimes we need just to "buck" us up a bit, so "Mother Nevaeh" is here to give you just that to keep you on track!

Have faith in yourself, whichever route you choose, as long as it doesn´t hurt others or yourself, keep going, it´s amazing sometimes when you´re learning new things, that which seemed so hard and complicated, suddenly became easier the more you persevered, try and remember those times when you finally succeeded in overcoming an obstacle or situation when you felt you couldn´t seem to jump over at the time. Eventually an answer will arise through your determination, not only that, a lot of the time other doors or answers to linked circumstances occur at the same time, enabling you to kill two birds with one stone!

Sometimes, though, after trying so hard at a problem and you don´t feel you are getting anywhere, it´s best to walk away, mentally and physically, not for all time but just enough to take a breather and a rest, you´ll find that when you´re refreshed, you may be able to tackle the problem from a different angle, perspective and or fresh eyes, that covers most situations; work, especially computer problems, home, kids, relationships etc, as the saying goes "Rome wasn´t built in a day" and after all "we are only human". We are not machines and sometimes I think we wished we were or we treat ourselves as if we were, which often leads to "meltdown". Then we´re no good to ourselves or anybody else.

One task that you can do everyday, morning and night is to look in the mirror and say "I am no better or no worse than anybody else. I have the capability and the knowhow to achieve my goals, or overcome my problems, I can do this, I will do this, I am doing this." Repeat this over and over everyday and see and feel the results in no time, it does work!

Motivational story – Solid Teamwork For Success

Motivational story – Solid Teamwork For Success

By: suhardi

--If you are willing to do what's easy, life will be hard. But if you are willing to do what's hard, life will be easy (T. HARV EKER)--

The best course of action to take sometimes isn't clear until you've listed and considered your alternatives. The following paragraphs should help clue you in to what the experts think is significant.

I'm wondering if everything is making sense so far? If not, I'm sure that with just a little more reading thoroughly, all the facts will fall into place.

One day, The God created the air, sun, plant, water, ground, and herbivore. Unfortunately, all of them were too proud of themselves. Each of them declared that it was the best of all until all of them were in hostility. In order to determine who the best was, they then asked their God to get the answer.

The God answered their question wisely, “There is no need to self-state to be the best. All of you are great. You all are created to help each other, not to knock each other down. You are created to cooperate so you can live harmoniously and each of you needs help from others, you cannot live alone. The air was produce by the plant, so without the help of plant, there will be no air. If there is no air on the earth, the herbivore will die quickly in just minutes. The plant needs the water and herbivore’s dirt as fertilizer to grow up and also need the sun to run the process of photosynthesis to produce air. The herbivore must need the plant to eat and water to drink for living and surviving. The plants and herbivore need the ground as the place to stand and grow. The ground cannot be fertile without the help of water and fertilizer from herbivore’s dirt. So each of you are so useful to others. From now on, live peacefully and help each other.” Then The God disappeared. Listening to the wise answer, they were aware the benefits of helping each other and live harmoniously.

Message for readers:

The story above is telling you about the power of building solid teamwork. You must have known that the power of a solid teamwork is much stronger and powerful than that of an individual and the most important is that working in a team can achieve the best expected results for the entire member of a team.

Do you ever see a flock of birds flying in the sky that form the V-shape formation? Do you think that it is accidental? No, it’s not accidental. They form that shape because of the benefits they can get. By flying in the formation, they can fly 70% further than the distance of one bird flying alone. In this formation, the leader of the birds is in the front. When the leader is tired, another bird will take the place in the front to be a leader. And if it is tired, it will be replaced by another bird. The bird that flies in the front is tired more quickly than those who fly behind.

Another example is to take an experiment. Take a sheet of paper and then tear it off. It is easy thing to do, isn’t it? Then take 30 sheets of paper and tear them off. It will become more difficult. Then take 100 sheets of paper and then do the same. I think you cannot do that. What about you are hit on your head by a sheet of paper? It will not be absolutely painful. But if you are hit strongly on the head by 500 sheets of paper, you must be painful and dizzy.

So the conclusion we can make is that the effort of teamwork can defeat the single effort. Successful people realize that the teamwork can increase their power tremendously. Each of members in a team has the same goals and visions like you do. They can support and help you achieving your goals and together everyone achieves great results. They not only can motivate you, but also fill your weakness.

Tips: find people that have the same visions and can cooperate or collaborate with you to achieve bigger success.

Now might be a good time to write down the main points covered above. The act of putting it down on paper will help you remember what's important about daily motivation.

How to boost your motivation to achieve your goals

How to boost your motivation to achieve your goals

By: Hani Al-Qasem

How seriously do you want your desires? How motivated are you to be persistent in pursuing your goals and dreams until they are achieved?

How much you want your goals and dreams determines the strength of your motivation. It is that strength that will steadfastly chase after your goals irrespective of any challenges.

I remember a friend who set himself a goal that he felt very excited about. He talked for days on end about that goal; what it meant to him and how he really wanted to achieve it within six months at the most.

A couple of months later, my friend Bill, took me aside. I could see he was feeling depressed. He went on to tell me how disappointed he was that his goal had not been realised.

“Goal? What Goal?” was my honest answer. It was not what Bill wanted to hear.

“You know, my goal to get a sculptured body,” Bill answered, with a sense of defeat in his voice.

“Oh that. I thought you were kidding. We all figured you changed your mind since we don’t see you going to the gym anymore,” I replied.

What happened here?

In the beginning, Bill was excited about his new goal of getting a toned body; a sculptured chest, arms and thighs. He was full of motivation and determination to achieve that goal.

He constantly went to the gym four to five days a week. He took his protein shakes, his Creatine and chatted endlessly about his training schedule and how pleased he was with his progress.

By the third month, he started to go to the gym twice a week and mid-way through that month it went down to once a week.

His dilemma was he couldn’t understand why his motivation to workout had declined to once a week half-way through the third month.

“At the beginning, I was so full of motivation. I felt nothing could stop me,” he explained.

So what went wrong? Where did his incredible motivation go?

After careful consideration, it came to light that Bill had lost his initial burst of motivation because he was not really passionate about being toned.

It was merely a passing ‘wish’. In other words, he did not want to be toned badly enough. If he did, if he felt passionate, he would have continued his workout routine no matter what challenges or distractions he faced.

Bill was torn between two thoughts. The first said, “Yeah I’d like to have a toned body.” But his conflicting second thought argued, “Sure, but you could get along in life without it.”

And who won? His conflicting thought did. You see, Bill would have ‘liked’ the sculptured body, but he did not turn that want into a solid goal. The toned body idea remained just that, an a wish. As such, his once powerful motivation had weakened until it disappeared.

If he had turned it into a goal, he would have pursued it. He would have been enthusiastic and motivated to pursue that goal irrespective of how tired he was.

After all, it was his goal. And goals are meant to be achieved.

Passion ignites the drive from deep within to maintain the motivation to reach all sorts of goals and dreams. Passion provides the fuel to keep you in a highly motivated state of mind.

Once you find out what you are passionate about, boost your motivation to remain persistent regardless of any obstacles.

In time, your motivation will increase in energy regardless of any distractions.

Motivation pushes you to take consistent daily action to achieve and live your goals.
